Its that time again!! The Jones Township Community Donated Yard Sale will be held April 26th from 9:00am till 3 and again on April 27th from 9 am till noon at the Wilcox Community Building.  Also, on Saturday, The Jones Township Senior Center will have a soup & sandwich sale and at the Wilcox Library a book and bake sale will be taking place. 

  Call Deb at (814) 929-5506 to drop off donated items or to arrange for pickup.      All proceeds benefit the Township Community Park                                             NO EARLY BIRDS PLEASE

$12.00 FEE PER LEVEL PICKUP LOAD, NO CHARGE FOR TIRES

Tires must be off the rim and be from passenger vehicles only.  No farm or large truck tires will be accepted.

NO HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE, BURN BARRELS, BRICKS OR CEMENT BLOCKs

THIS WILL BE THE ONLY CLEANUP THIS YEAR

 

 

The efforts of Township Supervisor Laurie Storrar in obtaining funding for the Jones Township Community Park were recently noted in the April issue of the Pennsylvania Township News.  As Townships across the state struggle with financing recreational activities, Jones Township was able to acquire more equipment and facilities with very little taxpayer funds.

 Horner Road Bridge now OPEN!!

 The new abutment has been erected and work on the new bridge is now completed!

Horner Road Bridge is now open. The bridge on Horner Road, located just off Route 219, had been closed due to structural deficiencies.  State inspectors recommended the closing following the mandatory bi-annual inspection.
