Hey kids, nothing to do this summer?  How about having a summer full of adventures!

The Wilcox Recreational Park is holding a summer program for kids of all ages at the Ballpark.  The program is 10:00 to 3:00 Monday through Friday.  

There will be many activities, sports, games, and crafts for the kids.  Each week there will be a different theme such as:  Animal Week, Survivor Week, Talent Week, Nature Week, Christmas in July Week, Beach Week, and Olympics Week.  

There will also be a GPS training session for geo-caching available for the first ten kids who sign up.  The GPS session is for ages 10 and up, located in St. Marys on June 18th.  There will be transportation provided, kids can sign up at the ballpark.  

The concession stand will be open throughout the summer.

Sesquicentennial Basketball Tournament 

Saturday July 19th at 8:00am at the Ballpark in Wilcox.

Age brackets are girls and boys going into grades 6th-8th, 9th-12th and Old Timers.

Teams can only have up to 4 players, at least 3.  Entry fee is $10.00 per person.  To enter a team, pick up an entry form at the Wilcox Business office at the Wilcox Community Building.  All teams must be registered prior to July 3rd.

  •  A COMMUNITY-DONATED YARD SALE was held April 26 & 27, 2008 to raise funds for the community park project.  This project has always been a resounding success and has helped us with funding to complete the concession stand phase of the park. We would like to thank all those who donated items as well as all those who visited us for shopping!
